ASB footage always looks way more fun than I’d expect from this kind of licensed game. It seems like the team really cares about making it look and feel good, which is great!

their other game is awesome imo, and has a character from fucking Iji, one of my favorite indie games and something i never thought i’d see with these two eyes lol

I think if I played Persona 4 Arena I’d want to play Junpei, his baseball mechanic is so extra. I love playing characters with extra resources to manage and that one is just so unique

I watched a WoolieVS P4AU video where they played against a killer Junpei (~47:05 mins in). After looking into how it works, it’s not too bad in theory tbh. Definitely different in play I’d expect. I do want to pick him up 1000% just for the bat sound though and that one Tasmanian devil spin.
Meanwhile I’m really enjoying Linne in UNI2 now. She’s definitely the type of character where you kinda just need to always be doing stuff. I also still haven’t figured out an anti-air other than her force function lol.

I don’t like how this looks…I feel bad saying this because I know making a game is hard but it looks like it was made by people who have no imagination for how these characters would fight outside of what the manga/anime depicts. Gives 360 era licensed game. Also, maybe it’s the health bars and sort of 3dness, it reminds me of Rising Thunder but less interesting to watch and with tag.
Edit* In retrospect perhaps a bit reactionary. I’m still hesitant and dont think it looks interesting from this but if the mechanics are solid and people like it I will support for sure
Just finished 4 straight hours of Tekken 8 with my friends and wow I missed this.
Also absolutely got jump scared by battle pass nonsense when I finished while already annoyed by season pass pricing. Absolutely loathe a lot about modern gaming.

Im watching the HxH gameplay at work and im loving what i see. It looks like Mvc3-2 and i love it. Might be one of the few FGs i buy at launch price. I think its still a bit early in dev, so it could have more polish, but the gameplay looks good, so id play it as is.

I did end up playing some SF6 for the first time since… February. Damn, time flies.
Played two sets against my Master Zangief friend, and I definitely still got it. If anything, my footsies got better by not playing much for a while lmao.
