I got invited to Halloween observed karaoke and itās been super fun. Especially since I get to just belt shit instead of trying to blend in like I do at choir.

Weāve got a weird schedule for class the next two days meaning I have a 2.5 hour class of grade 9 English tomorrow. Iām trying to think of a film to watch as a lead-in to the novel study (Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian) and Iām coming up blank.
iāve considered it for the discord but i feel like people would be too nervous
maybe Iāll posit it as an idea anyways

I do karaoke nights on my server on the service that canāt be named, theyāre really fun. Big thing is people can mute their own or othersā mics if they feel the need so in some ways itās better. I also link the lyrics if peoplesā videos donāt have captions so people can join in if they want. We donāt really focus on official karaoke tracks (i.e. without vocals) so theyāre really more like singalong nights, but itās still fun and I think in some ways the singalong vs karaoke aspect is less intimidating for some.

I havenāt filmed in sooo long, I looked through my archive and didnāt like anything lmao. This is a random combo from last year. Iām 3yrs in the hobby and a bit stagnant but I want to get back to learning and improving once Iām settled!
@barquq can I selfishly request imgur embeds? Imgur sucks but itās one of the more consistent/reliable/simple short video hosting services Iāve tried.

itās not a thing that i can fix unfortunatelly, assuming youāre getting a 429 error - that happens because imgur rate-limits everything except reddit ever since it got bought out.

Welp. I woke up at 3:30 with stomach pain and havenāt been able to get back to sleep so guess Iām justā¦ Running on less than 6 hours while also having weird gas issues today. Love this for me. I fucking hate that I canāt just call in sick without prepping a bunch of lessons for whichever coworker they have to pull to replace me.
