I’m lukewarm positive about them–I think they’re great games (and I played a solid chunk of 2), I’m just currently not that into pokemon? So I set them aside until I get in the mood for it.
I’m trying to get over the terrible performance on Switch but maybe I’ll have better luck just buying MH stories 2 on Steam and getting a steam deck in a few months.

Maybe this is the one where I’ll actually play regularly and online with others instead of falling off right when the high rank hunting starts… I trust all the MonHun Freaks (positive) here to be a good hunting community.
Honestly, I firmly believe any given MonHun is a game intended to be played right until you hit the “this is kind of annoying” threshold and then drop it like a hot potato.

God the charge blade is so cool.
I don’t play online in this game so I don’t do the whole like “well oiled machine” part of the game so I’ll never feel compelled to learn all the moves or whatever. Just the basics of the charge blade kick ass though.

i was having fun after picking up the charge blade in world and right around when i was thinking “you know this weapon is kind of simple and doesn’t have that many moves” i discovered that you could juice up your shield and sword instead of only going into chainsaw mode
