A song that really isn’t supposed to be on my regular playlist came up for some reason, so I took a look through it and threw out a hundred and thirty tracks that were on there by mistake, either because I just don’t like them, or they were on there twice, or who knows why. Immediately afterwards, the shuffle function gave me so many songs I hadn’t heard in forever (I forgot I had any AJJ!)

Having trouble deciding whether to bring an old way too big laptop with me on my 2-week trip at the start of next month… Its use will purely be 1) maybe watching one movie on it for each plane trip on its measly battery supplying a hungry nvidia card 2) in my hotel room in the evenings maybe doing a bit of catchup with friends on discord and using it to purchase a bus ticket once or twice.
I’m leaning no lol it really would be so unnecessary but the wrinkle is just I’m such a boomer and I’m sooooooo uncomfortable using my phone as my main tech interface I hate it I need a physical keyboard and a screen I can see things on and clearly have multiple windows open that I can see and conceptualize. The thought of living for two weeks sitting hunched over my phone in my hotel room sending maybe one sentence to friends over discord every evening before I get tired of phone typing is so pathetic… I probably will end up being sensible and not bringing the computer though lol.

It’s funny, reading the matt post itself my thought until I got to the end was “oh, huh, this is a weird post but pretty restrained by the standards of internet tyrants” and then I got to the end and stopped being able to form coherent thoughts as I tried to understand how someone turns out this way

i organized my seven (7) fabric drawers into piles of scrap, used fabrics for myself, unused fabrics for myself, used fabrics for the kids, unused fabrics for the kids… i have a normal amount of cloth i think
