I think it’s because the joke formula is so obnoxious that I love “guess who’s got two thumbs and” setups. Like “guess who’s got two thumbs and a circular saw! Not me anymore!”

TomSka did a silly pickup lines themed sketch, and I still remember his variant on this one. He delivers a goofy and crass “guess who’s got two thumbs” and goes to gesture at himself, but his thumbs have been inexplicably amputated. The girl starts screaming at the blood as he goes, “WHERE are my thumbs??”

I think my Cradle reread has reached its pinnacle: I want to do a writeup on not just my own custom Path (The Path of Silver Strings, a Sword and Wind path that specializes in Forging strings to use as essentially monowire, but with the option to have it not cut your target), but also on an OC that’s a Sage on that path (Probably a cricket Sacred Beast and traveling musician, that uses the Forged strings as a musical instrument, talented in combat but not specializing in it)

a local restaurant near me has a really good variety of them

We have a local joint that I do like a fair bit, though they lay on the Philly a bit hard for somewhere that is Nowhere Near geographically. Food’s good though so I’ll put up with the cheesy decor

It was so dumb I straightup read it out loud to my team during the daily status meeting. A team member went, with a resigned voice, “Was it created by X?” and I’m like “huh, yeah, how’d you know”, to which I got “He’s been doing that for 20 years. Never learns anything, either.”
