also there’s definitely a green woodpecker nearby that I can hear from the open window
boss had a friend stop by who brought cakes and he just left them in the lunch room for people to take so im having work cake on a slow friday

The previous lab we worked at, one of the technicians next door made a habit of baking every week and bringing the tray in on Mondays. We all missed her dearly when she left.

I was liveblogging my journey of familiarizing myself with Krita and learning its animation interface in a group chat, saying I was doing it to maybe finally stop using my ancient cracked Photoshop 2015 that has compatibility issues with my gpu and I’m too lazy to find a newer compatible crack to install. And then my friend in the group chat who isn’t very tech savvy said “Oh I’d been meaning to ask you if you could find a PS crack for me since I don’t have the Adobe license from my previous job anymore…” So I’ve spent the past half hour downloading a 2024 crack and installing it and checking it myself to make sure it was good and to give my friend simplified install instructions lol. Still gonna keep poking at Krita over the evening though because I stubbornly just don’t like using PS nowadays.

En route to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Taking a pit stop while in Lincoln City and I didn’t have buy anything or ask anyone to let me into what is the cleanest McDonald’s bathrooms I ever did see.
Will have to consider a proper lunch though.
Edit: in the destination town an hour over getting a proper lunch at the brewery. Great view!

This owns. How’s emulation performance? I have an Analogue Pocket but I’m not crazy about the size or form factor

Perfect imo, emulates to non-analogue stick PS1 with no issues, MuOS has vastly sped up my boot times and the form factor is wonderful given the clamshell. Been using the hell out of it. The only thing is that my unit has very clicky buttons, heard newer ones are better (but still clicky)
