My spouse and I were hanging out with a bunch of friends from different online and offline spaces and we were all making refreshments for everyone. @barquq was apparently very focused on making The Perfect hot chocolate.

I had a magnus archives themed dream/nightmare (can’t really tell you which it was, there was active scaryness but it wasnt for me) involving being teleported to a dimension full of murderous cars
and I think someone was like
reciting a statement about it over this scene

had a dream last night that our late grandfather owned a mansion we were staying in, a now recurring setting i guess. it was all very feverdreamy. the most interesting part was a nightmare portion.
there was some computer in like a mall area the mansion was connected to, advertising how it could grant you power, black console with a bright scarlet UI. the only parameter you were able to input is a slider, controlling how drastic you wanted your change to be.
our girlfriend went first, setting the slider to the most extreme, and then sticking his hand into the screen. he disappeared, leaving me to panic, until he possessed the plushie we were carrying to tell us he was alright. he had become some sort of omnipresent digital god with no centralized form. the rest of the section was a stressful spiral as he lost his sense of self and became increasingly distressed, i think it ended when the machine’s effect thankfully wore off due to a time limit.

had a really fun horror game dream… i think its because ive just gotten to the jumpscare parts of outer wilds’ dlc.
i dreamt i was playing this game with a friend that was resident evil-style explore and solve puzzles in a giant mansion, we were just sitting down together in front of a big old tv, and we got to a part where you had to go to sleep to go to a dream world version of the mansion and find a specific room that didnt exist in the real world to get a cutscene. but the moment you went into the dream world, a timer would start where a murder guy in the real world mansion would start wandering and eventually find your character and game over you, so you had to do everything in the dream world really quick, and then wake up to a chase sequence in the mansion where youd have to use your knowledge of the space to run circles around the murder guy and eventually make enough distance between you that you could hide somewhere. in my dream playing with my friend i kept failing and having to reload, the first time i just got jumpscared out of the dream world, then the second time i finished the dream world cutscene just as the murder guy came into the room, and every retry i made it a little bit farther. at one point in the middle of the retries i actually had a save corruption moment and had to reload an autosave from 10 minutes earlier which was fun LOL. i dont know if this would actually be a fun segment of video game to play irl but it was a really fun dream to do video game problemsolving. i guess clock tower games are kinda like this a bit? ive never played one but from what i know most clock tower games are about being in a building where theres a murder guy you gotta watch out for.

had a dream we were playing fnaf in real life at our dad’s house. opilabird from garten of banban was there. there was a collectible/power up that was just a rotating mario head, dunno what it would do if collected.
Had a dream where my fiance and I were just cuddling on the couch. Very mundane, wish it was real (we’re LDR rn)

dreamt about this strange store. every section for different food was a strange themed construction complete with realistic animatronics. only one i can actually remember was this actually very nice house area that sold donuts. the animatronic there was like a guy in a suit? it was supposed to be themed after Italy somehow. the decore had like big jars of olives and stuff everywhere. pizza restaurant tryin to be fancy vibes. anyways there was an employee there and i think we were kinda gay for each other.
also had a dream that we were on a road trip with people we knew in middle school (and also Baaulp from Radio Tv Solutions?). at one point we stopped at an art fair/bookstore and learned that in the dream @renkotsuban was a published author. they had released an art book and a surrealist novel with horror elements. anyways we also pulled over to go pee in a Chuck-E-Cheese and kept missing the toilet. the end!

Oh man, what a dream, bahaha. Manifesting that “published author” energy for my real life 
I had this very terrible but mundane dream of sifting cake flour into a bowl. Just when I was finishing up, someone came by and was like “oh I need this, thanks” and took the bowl, so I had to get a new bowl and start over. This happened three more times and my arm was getting so sore and tired. Finally, this official-looking guy came over and was like, “If you keep this up for another X minutes and Y seconds, you’ll have the Guiness World Record,” and he too removed the bowl and set down an empty one.
I woke up before I could claim the title 
Also my right arm up to my shoulder was one huge painful knot lol, sigh 
Guess I shouldn’t try to make cake this week ahaha

dreamed I was trying to run a TRPG for my mum, her friend and her friend’s two daughters but for some reason we just kept getting interrupted so it was like 5am and we were still in character creation and everyone was getting irate with me help

had a dream that we were going on some sort of an expedition into our headspace/inner world (for any unfamiliar with the concept: basically a persistent mental representation of a physical space that systems will sometimes have/create to inhabit internally. like a fuckin. mind palace or whatever) for reasons i don’t remember. because of weird dream shit it was actually a semi-physical place, and we had to pack. the only items i remember are Oddly Shaped Opals from RoR2 and 8 redstone dust from minecraft.
i don’t remember much of the expedition, but i do remember that instead of our usual headspace, it was some sort of deep cave system. it was full of these interconnected tunnels that were big enough to crawl through. i think we were trying to… “activate” the cave somehow using the redstone. whatever that means.
eventually we got back and apparently we had some time dilation shit had happened and we came to with this old man checking on us and our girlfriend missing. we searched for him, eventually finding him in a trainyard/train station? forlornly watching a passing train, hair grown out down to his upper-mid back. i don’t remember what happened after.

Belated, but lord that flour sifting is something that’s happened to me before. I will sometimes have dreams where I am at a large buffet or food event of some kind, and the dream will Always consist of me trying to load up my plate, the plate of food vanishing after I set it down/my in-dream memory loses track of it, and then me having to pick through the increasingly sparse selection because well. It’s a buffet. People will keep taking from it and unfortunately that part of the dream logic is very, very consistent.
One of these days I will learn how to lucid dream purely so I can fucking eat the damn food finally. My god.

Had a dream where I was in a family reunion for holidays, dozed off and when I woke up my hair had been buzzed. I was irate, going inside and looking for something heavy to go back and beat the shit of whoever did it
Probably the first time I realized how much I’d hate to go back to looking like I used a few years back.

Dreamt I was visiting some YouTube essayists in Ireland and we were putting on a murder mystery dinner party. For some reason, this required everyone to be butt-naked, and unfortunately one of these individuals had a member that looks exactly like the edible mushroom in Magicus.
also one of them wanted to give me a birthday gift (it is not my birthday)
