Thanks. It was a public park that we visited often when we first moved here. Past the fire pit is a nice view of the marsh below, and while the fire that her sister set was not very large, the smoke ended up catching the light really nicely (silhouetted a very large spiderweb in the trees too). A lot of the planning turned out to be serendipity and it came together really nicely.

Yee ty. Was a bit of an adventure because we both thought they would arrive the next week, so we had backup silicon rings ready (we needed them anyway for respective jobs). Wife’s ring arrived Thursday and mine arrived literally 4 hrs before the ceremony.

Gonna get the sapphire swapped out for an amethyst too for birthday reasons.

I swear to god one of these days I’ll remember to just make a multi-reply post :sweat_smile:. Lord I gotta work on my forum netiquette.

She picked her dress first - basically was picking through Nordstrom until she saw that one and fell in love immediately. They sold out in her size so we had to buy the next available one and then hunt down a tailor about it. Mine was off the rack at Men’s Wearhouse. Mostly just thought burgundy was a very good color and only after the fact realized it was kind of complementary (and also that meant I could wear red at my wedding :slightly_smiling_face: )

Ah, the clear pent-up anxious-ish energy of a young couple in the process of the wedding ceremony. I’m familiar with it ;). Happy for you both, of course!
