when youre walking back and forth in front of a finish line just doing some bonus grinding and you step backwards and get the joker is roaming message and you sit there for a whole minute considering whether youre supposed to walk backwards (step forward to where you previously where) or walk backwards (backwards)

thankfully i chose right (its always the go back button)

Is the Joker the same as the Reaper or are they distinct?

Reaper follows you for a while (and defeats you if you backtrack). Joker is an enemy you can avoid by taking a step backwards.

the Joker is annoying but pretty easy to kill so if you’re stuck between Reaper behind and Joker in front, always take the Joker :+1: Reaper just does 9999 damage LMAO

Buh buh but the joker has a small chance to drop a world tree seed and isn’t that worth it?

Honestly I get it, skipped so many jokers because I just didn’t want to deal and may even hit the reaper in doing so once or twice :ojosama:
