The Elder Scrolls 6 Announcement Is Now as Old as Skyrim Was When The Elder Scrolls VI Was Announced

No thank you. I reject this. :slightly_smiling_face:

anyyyyyyyyyyyyyy day now

It’s so funny that they delayed this in favor of working their asses off to make a game that nobody remembers a year on.

My understanding is this wasn’t delayed so much as they announced it just as pre-production began. A bit similar to how FF7R was announced like a week after it was greenlit.

The difference between the two is the company was mostly busy making Starfield at the time, and it was basically announced four and a half years too early. FF7R was basically full steam ahead the moment they began working on it. So, even though it was announced too early, much more effort was able to be put toward it because Square has more than two dev teams(Bethesda basically has The FO76 People and the main team making whatever the next main game is. ESO is made by a different company that Bethesda owns).

As a side note, Firefox didn’t detect pre-production as a word and it thought I meant pee-production.
