also: our friend who’s been editing and giving feedback on our jam project caught up with what we’ve written since she last looked, and said it was superb so we’re very happy on that front :>

Oh my god somehow today was even worse for work than yesterday was. Or at least, I thought so, until I overhead that we had a 66% pick on time rate. I was graveyard shift yesterday, so I just wasn’t around when carts were even capable of going overdue, but 66% is… catastrophic. We picked hundreds of carts yesterday, not even counting the ship from store carts that don’t work with the same time limits, and even one missed goal is a big deal. Missing one third of goals for the entire day is… absolutely wild

love the verizon email that came related to my cancelled supposedly-free 5g home internet trial and said something to the effect of “this bill will either get reported to the credit bureaus. or it might not be real. you’d think we’d be able to tell you which one is what will happen but we can’t”.
it is a real damnation of our society that the owners of these financial services ever experience a moment in their lives where they are not pelted with thumbtacks

I feel like Spotify was put on this earth specifically to make me suffer but wow even by that standard whatever they’re doing with the wrapped interface is terrible. Why can’t you just give me the fucking info. NYT does it right after any time I play Connections. Reddit did that last week.
How does Spotify always get everything wrong and bad. Do people claim to like this thing as a prank, a joke, on people like me?

I don’t use spotify, but the music app I do use keeps track of that info as well, just without as many bells and whistles and quips. Great Lake Swimmers ended up way higher on that list than I expected, but I still haven’t finished (or even really started) getting my hands back on all the music I lost when google killed google music (I do at least have a playlist of everything on my youtube music account but not anywhere on my phone)
