The Steam Spring Sale Has Started

what y’all pickin’ up, if anything? Chrono Trigger on sale for $7~ USD so I’m definitely grabbing that, and I’ve been itching to do a Nier Automata playthrough so I’ll probs be grabbin that too.

digimon next order is like $20 now which is the lowest it’s ever gotten as well…

I don’t buy a lot of new games so I’m considering the Vampire Survivors DLC pack since that was the last purchase I really enjoyed

maybe Unsighted which has been in my brazilian list forever

These are the games currently in my cart. I don’t really wanna swing for big games cuz I still have alot that’s keeping me busy, but these are small games I can buy without any guilt or nothing

There’s an old SAO game I’ve wanted to buy for a while (Hollow Realization). I may get it from Fanatical. but it’s hard to justify a single game that cost more than even $10 atm.

Hollow Realization was one of the first games I bought for my PS4 and to this day I couldn’t explain why, or have played it. Never watched SAO either.

It was a better time, when I could buy silly stuff (2017)

edit: Just realized what I have is actually Hollow Fragment, whoopsie

now i’m thinking about that SAO Gun Gale game that was really good because it had a bunch of DIMPs devs that worked on Freedom Wars (RIP, Vita means life, etc)

now I actually played Hollow Fragment it’s the quintessential SAO game experience.

  • Above average combat
  • interesting RPG and Party/bonding mechanics
  • relentlessly horny when you least expect it.

I wasn’t a full SAO fan when I first played it either, but it’s fun and I unexpectedly spent alot of hours on it. SAO games aren’t TOP quality, but they’re good enough to spend a good amount of time with them.

I think what would drive me to play a SAO game is the total lack of a new Hack entry, but I might as well buy GU remastered

1 week after I get a new PC and 1 week before Dragon’s Dogma 2 comes out is a real bad time for a Steam sale for me specifically

If you’re looking for a “Fake MMO” like experience then I cannot recommend CrossCode enough

a fake MMO without a sliding block fetish

CROSSCODE GANG

SORRY ABOUT ALL THE PUZZLES

I keep forgetting Crosscode is in my ever expanding RPG backlog. I think i’m like 60-75% thru the story and stopped for some reason.

I was going to tell people to go buy Crosscode but I see the job has already been done

on that note i’ll drop some project terra footage here since we’re on the topic:

anyways, whenever a steam sale drops it always reveals how many games i’m interested in are in early access. my wishlist is filled with this sort of thing, but i don’t really like buying games in EA for the most part, so on the wishlist they stay, gathering dust for much too long

My girlfriend Autumn really likes SLARPG which I’m sure has nothing to do with her being a transgender lesbian furry
