I feel like it’s much harder to both give and get webnovel recs vs webcomice, anime and manga or traditionally published books. Everytime I find a good one it’s by chance and people scoff when I recommend them so I wanna hear everybody’s thoughts and recs for webnovels, translated or otherwise and if you happen to be writing one this would be a great place to plug it

Unjust Depths is pretty good
Non-joking Unjust Depths recommendation
Some sort of magical apocalypse has happened and humanity has been driven into the ocean. Marxists vs Fascists and lots of political intrigue at the bottom of the ocean with catgirls and mechs and QPOC representation. Has content warnings for explicit sexual content early on but it’s fairly rare that it gets that explicit again. Also just weird relationship dynamics.
Not really a content warning but I personally found the character dialog to be very weird and silly until I realized it was trying to be an anime. So ymmv on your tolerance for that. But everything else about it is very good imho.

Edited my original post to give an actual lukewarm recommendation of UD. Initially I was just making a joke about how there is an Unjust Depths Hater Thread wherein I take an emotional roller-coaster through the work. But recently I’ve been thinking I was too harsh on it so I will actually recommend it.
