That’s a weird error, let me see if this changes anything
e: oh.
Oh, some great cat noises
a couple good youtube channels that deserve more eyes on them
You know, I never really realized that beyblade customization actually mattered, I thought they were just cool tops
That Vivziepop video has me utterly fascinated and now I can’t stop thinking about that show, despite already being pretty close to 100% confident I would hate it (And Helluva Boss) if I tried before clicking on it. It has musical numbers??? I didn’t get very far because I just… don’t tend to enjoy these kinds of media takedowns unless there’s something more fundamentally funny about the media in question (see: Mother’s Basement’s latest video on bootleg Dragonball movies), but now I kinda wanna watch the source material because I didn’t really get the impression there was much, like… worldbuilding? In this show that very much relies on its setting for its premise, while borrowing heavily from pop-cultural and historical depictions of heaven and hell but changing them immensely for a wide variety of reasons? Which feels like such a huge misstep it can’t possibly be true… and yet, it would play right into my preconceived notions of why the show isn’t for me.
Anyways, to actually share a video, this one was shared with me in another server and it was pretty neat! https://youtu.be/eyZQ7k1F_g0
Last october i went to a fighting game major that had beyblade in a side room. I learned it was a basic RPS type thing wrt to customizations.
Also ive seen more beyblade IRL recently. I went walking to a local park one night and saw 3 guys having a bey session.
So stop me if you’ve heard this one. There’s this sad guy, who goes to see the doctor. He’s feeling anxious and existentially alienated in the current political climate. He feels that not only he but the whole world has no future the way things are going, and is some kind of depressed about it all. The doc says, “There’s a simple treatment to your problem. Take some time to do something for yourself. Even if it’s a little out of your way. Go to Pagliacci’s. The flavors and textures are so indulgent you’ll quickly find yourself in Margherita-ville.” The man replies, “But doc, I’m from Chicago. I only eat deep dish pizza.”
Anyway, Eddie Burback is bur-BACK with another culinary road trip, this time to actual Italy. It is less dissociative than his other food travel videos
