You know what we’re missing on Auldnoir… A pets thread!!!
Post about your pets, pictures of your pets, cool birds you’ve seen, cows you’ve gotten to touch, fish and bugs are also allowed!! Although to be safe maybe bug pictures should be spoilered since they’re a pretty common phobia.
This is my baby, Touya (pronounced too-ya like “what’s it to ya”). She’s 7.5 years old and is the first cat I’ve ever owned. We have an in-joke about her being a “well-respected middle-aged businesswoman” because at the time of adoption, I was trying very hard to remind myself that she was An Adult Cat. As you can see she is still baby, but the valiant attempt has produced a long-running series of very silly lore about her.
Also we got a commission of her business-sona from Donnie back on cohost (https://moveimbadger.com/). First ever commision I bought and the best $75 I’ve spent in a while. Just fucking. Look at her.
(Also, are there any avenues for doing image descriptions into the alt text for these? Or do I just need to write them into the body of the message? Dunno how many people use them here, but I’d like to maintain the practice.)

Edit: Alternatively we have pets and also wild animals, but I think that’s a split that can be decided on in the event I accidentally go overboard with the fish.
