Song of the day

One again Youtube refuses to provide any preview thumbnails, but. It’s a Bloodywood/BABYMETAL crossover track, and the music video is peak anime bullshit fighting Hindu demons in a volcano. If you wanted to see two Asian metal bands fuse together into a samurai-armor clad Ganesha. Well that’s an awfully specific request but we got it here babyyyyyyy

One of the most inspirational music videos of my childhood was The Party Starts Now from Club Penguin of all things. I just watched and listened to it for the first time in over a decade, and still quite adore it.

Maybe my favorite song from Xenosaga; My Long Forgotten Cloistered Sleep is also up there, but I love the energy this has, especially the vocals. Also, this one is actually in one of the games, while Cloistered Sleep plays over the credits to one of the japan-only side stories

kali dreamer is a local to me artist (i’ve even seen them live!)
their sp*tify bio says “ohio funeral rock” but they’ve done a lot of rap before this, check them out on bandcamp!

one of the songs ever for real

“Hatef–k” - CottontailVA (nsfw obvs, song originally by The Bravery)

hm. sorry for big booby lady in the thumbnail. love the original song tho and this cover’s good imo

I’ve had this song (especially the chorus) stuck in my head for days now and I still can’t enough, a wonderful blast from the past that’s a huge help in ignoring the awful din of christmas music that plays without stopping for anything but christmas-themed ads at work

Thinking about KoF13 again. This was the soundtrack of my early 20s lmao

have Joshua / Jericho, an album by the Reverent Marigold, which is in the words of the artist, “a queer retelling of the book of Joshua”

There might only be two episodes of Kasso on youtube, but the theme song is a banger, so I’m willing to listen to it while I wait for 3 and 4

saw someone talking about going back through Apocalyptica’s older albums which instantly made me turn 17 again
