The radio station we play at work has been blasting this classic lately.
It makes me think of this banger tiktok every time and puts a smile on my face https://www.tiktok.com/@yunggmamii/video/6876631934731128070

I’ve just been blasting this lately on my way to work and my way home and just whenever I need a little extra strength to carry on. Something about the climax of this song makes everything feel okay, like I can take on anything lol.
i recall you saying you didn’t really like kaleidoscopic core but i continue to be impressed that mitsuda managed to take this song and make it turn into that lmao
Definitely impressive, though I think ACE did that arrangement. My main gripe about it is the really rapid pulsing strings at the beginning and middle section that feel like they’re in a different key than the rest of the song, but maybe it’s some weird sensory thing for me, idk.
Song of the day as presented by my brain on repeat:
“Little pig, little pig, let me in!”
“Not by the hairs on my chinny, chin chin”
To the cadence of the end of Not Like Us where he repeats “he a 69 God”.
I’m doing the “only listening to soundtracks” thing again but Declare A End [track 14] is so damn good. Also, Just One Second is fantastic, I love a 9 minute song.
It’s an X-102 Discovers the Rings of Saturn kind of day today I think
Mike Banks really doesn’t get enough credit
song of the day… every day (i’m a little obsessed)
(song is “Animal Day” by Wall of Voodoo, recorded live November 22 1980)
