canvas users, what are your plugin recs? I have never used canvases before and finding them a little clunky as-is.

I just use dataview + style settings + supercharged links for marking things as done, nothing fancy. The big thing I do with canvas is just like, make cards with links to notes. When you have a few cards that need linking together, create a group.
Players is a group here, the green links are the ones I marked as “done”. It’s basically just a really convenient way to gin up an outline because you can just hit [[ in a card and start typing and click it and that creates a note, and the link updates its name automatically if you ever change it.

I went into a fugue state and spent three straight days doing very little other than reorganising shit in Obsidian and setting up Inoreader/Omnivore.

this completely slipped past me, not sure if it’s still catalyst only since i haven’t dled it myself it

Oh sick, I’ve been curious about this. I don’t have a ton I’d use it for, but I think it’d be fun to do use it for like, deep dive personal wikis, tracking little references and foreshadowing and such in series that have a lot of continuity that isn’t immediately obvious, or doesn’t get much focus

silly q but what it webclipper, how do i find it (i found clipper on the community plugins, is that the same thing?), and what is it used for :O
i put the links here for chrome and firefox
basically you download the extension, press it when you’re on a webpage and it will download the page as a markdown file in your vault automatically
there is a plugin for it, but it wasn’t official like this is so it works a lot better
It’s also a nice alternative to raindrop if you want to make obsidian your central system
