ayo, what device is this? cause that’s no miyoo mini+ :P
big same. made me so happy.
Its fucked up that someone will post a screenshot like this and my brain will go “ooooooh yea baby, I want to play Dystopian Office Worker Simulator!”
Oh this whips conceptually.
Judgement and Lost Judgement have some of the best storytelling and combat in the series imo
I gave the Miyoo Mini+ to my sister, it was too small for my big meaty claws
This is an Anbernic 40XXV, it’s probably my favorite SBC that isn’t the Odin 2. This one’s for lounging around the house gaming and then I swap the second SD card to the SP for when I’m out
i see, i see. miyoo def needs a holder to be playable for me. I can’t remember why i had it out of the holder for a minute and i was like “how did i play this before?”
mother 3 if it was even more of a horror game than it already is
THe dpad on my 8bitdo is acting up -_-
God i know davg is Yet Another AAA Bioware Game but I’m enjoying it a lot mostly bc I’m Completely Enamored with Emmrich Volkarin (the old man Mourn Watch necromancer/fade professor). i haven’t fallen this head over heels for a fictional character in a while lmao.
Literally the only thing I saw about Veilguard was my friend streaming his recruit mission and I was immediately super into him, in multiple ways
: Nine Sols boss rush mode good :) also rlly hard still damn, ik im out of practice but still oofa
9S’s strength is definitely in its kickass boss fights and their ability to challenge you on what you’ve learned, so jumping back into them cold has been a challenge (and also a lot of fun)
im gonna eat shit forever and it’s gonna be great :D
Okay, Sora’s off to a quick lead as my favorite character in Ever17, I can tell her arc is gonna be a lot of fun. She’s an AI hologram that acts as a receptionist for the park and helps guests through orientation and pressurization as they descen underwater, and kept this a secret because she wants to be human, this disaster was gonna be her best shot at ever getting to experience that (Takeshi missed that part of orientation because he was distracted by some random kid that might be surviving somewhere else in the park, and the other, still unnamed pov character has amnesia and knows nothing about anyone else here. Its entirely possible that she met privately with You and Sara to ask them to help keep it a secret. AND, that whole thing is a perfect little explanation to one of the earlier mysteries; Sora insisting that everyone keep their pressurization earbuds in even though the primary purpose they’re meant to serve inside the park (counteracting the effects the large concentration of helium gas in the park to help raise the air pressure would have on the guests’ voices) isn’t supposed to be a thing anymore, since the whole problem at hand is that the emergency escape doors were left open too long and the pressure dropped to 1 atmosphere. Its great!
I started Wind Waker this morning and even though i didn’t even really get started, I’m so hooked already
I have been continuously playing STALKER 2 since release. It’s a technical mess and A-life very clearly does not work as intended and none of that prevents it from being fantastic.
chipped away a bit at Persona 3, falling behind again but it’s hard to do Tartarus stuff when I only have maybe 2 hours in an evening for Activities.
also we’re finishing Disc 1 of FFVIII tomorrow most probably.
I can finally grind out little in FFVI, which is exciting for me
I ran into a puzzle in Ever17 last night that I immediately had the answer for (Its was a printout of a .txt file that had been distorted so the text was so tall as to be unrecognizable, Nakkyu had accidentally made one of those illusions where you need to tilt the paper so you’re nearly looking at it edge-on and assumed it was completely useless) and spent a good hour trying to get as far ahead in the story with it as possible (which wouldn’t have been far, but even just a hint could pay huge dividends, and in a mystery story like this that’s an unbeatable feeling). Unfortunately, I made zero progress because I had to translate it before I could do anything with it and google translate wasn’t being cooperative with my attempts to draw the kanji, nor were any of the resources I got from my friend who’s currently learning Japanese. After I gave up, I learned that I had wasted that hour for a whopping four reason: The game immediately lets you point out what the solution to the puzzle is, it translates the text for you, the text itself is irrelevant except maybe with some alternate character readings or other such Japanese wordplay that exists years if not decades beyond my toes-deep understanding of the language, and then it doesn’t even change anything because the characters lose their chance to use the information immediately! Felt like a genius the whole time though, and the story has been picking up otherwise for a hot minute now. Ushikoshi is really goddamned good at this whole “setting up tension and mystery with intermittent breaks for slice of life, comic relief, and casual discussion, all of which will have further mysteries and foreshadowing secretly woven in” stuff, cannot wait for AI 3 (At least, I think that’s been teased?)
